Beyond a doubt, Dale Basham is the biggest fan of Muncie and Delaware County I’ve ever met. I wholeheartedly believe that he will bring his passion for the city and its people to the statehouse if elected as District 34’s Indiana State Representative in November.
This man lives, breathes and dreams Muncie. While at Ball State University, I was fortunate enough to have him as a mentor throughout my time as president of the Rotaract Club of Ball State.
His zeal is contagious — truly. He helped me fall in love with the Muncie and allowed me the opportunity to fully immerse myself in it by introducing me to countless community leaders. Never before have I met someone so involved in a community, so well connected and excited about a region’s future as Basham.
Basham’s ability to take an idea from its inception as a little spark to an all-out, no holds barred success story is unbelievable. He has this uncanny skill wherein he utilizes his contagious positive energy to get everyone — even those on the outskirts — excited about and involved in the process of whatever’s at hand. The empathy and care he has for all those he comes into contact with really shines, and helps everyone in the process feel valued, capable and seen.
If elected as Indiana State Representative for District 34, I have no doubt in my mind that Basham will help citizens feel valued, capable and seen while advocating energetically for Muncie at the statehouse.
